Death of a Bread Machine

It is with great sadness that I must report the death of my beloved bread machine.  After 22 years of faithful service, it spun its final dough ball.  For those of you who have stayed here, you know that I LOVE making all kinds of home-made yeast products.  Many of those I start in the bread machine, and then finish in the oven.

My old machine looked like R2D2 (in some ways sounded like him, too...and hopped around the counter, as well.  The search began for a replacement..and I will say it was difficult to find some of the features that I loved in my old friend.

The search is over...I have been driving for the last three days a brand new, top of the line Zojirushi.  It can do everything my old Dak did, and more....I can't wait to try to croissant recipe.

Will report more, as I get used to all the great features!
